Audi A3 (8V) – Automatically fold the mirrors when the vehicle is locked (Coding)
Purpose: Allows the mirrors to be folded automatically when the vehicle is locked.
The vehicle must be equipped with the option “Electrically folding mirrors (With the stalk in the door)”
Warning!! There are 5 coding lines to do here.
Proceed:
1 – Engine off, ignition off, connect your official VAG-COM VCDS cable to
the computer then connect the other end to the diagnostic socket of your vehicle.
2 – Switch on the ignition then launch the VCDS program.
Line 1:
3 – Click on ” Select ” then click on ” 52 – Passenger Door “.
4 – Click on ” Coding – 07 ” then click on ” Long Coding Wizard ”
5 – Choose byte ” 4 ”
Then check Bit ” 6 ” : ” Comfort Mirror Folding active ”
Line 2:
3 – Click on ” Select ” then click on ” 42 – Driver Door “.
4 – Click on “ Coding – 07 ” then click on “ Long Coding Wizard ”
5 – Choose the byte “ 4 ”
Then check the Bit “ 6 ”: “ Comfort Mirror Folding active ”
Line 3:
3 – Click on “ Select ” then click on “ 09 – Central Electricity ”.
4 – Click on “ Security Access – 16 ” then type the code “ 31347 ”
5 – Click on “ Adaptation – 10 ”.
6 – On this page, at the very top, there is a drop-down menu.
In this drop-down menu, choose “ Access Control 2-Funk Spiegelanklappen ”
7 – On this same page, there is a second drop-down menu but towards the bottom
of the page.
On the latter, choose “ active ” then validate.
Line 4:
3 – Click on “ Select ” then click on “ 09 – Central Electricity ”.
4 – Click on “ Security Access – 16 ” then type the code “ 31347 ”
5 – Click on “ Adaptation – 10 ”.
6– On this page, at the very top, there is a drop-down menu.
In this drop-down menu, choose “ Access Control 2-Menuesteuerung Funk Spiegel anklappen ”
7 – On this same page, there is a second drop-down menu but towards the bottom
of the page.
On the latter, choose “ active ” then validate.
!!! So that the mirrors fold without having to hold down the button on the remote control
Line 5:
3 – Click on “ Select ” then click on “ 09 – Central Electric ”.
4 – Click on “ Security Access – 16 ” then enter the code “ 31347 ”
5 – Click on “ Adaptation – 10 ”.
6 – On this page, at the very top, there is a drop-down menu.
In this drop-down menu, choose “ Access Control 2-Funk Spiegelanklappung Modus ”
7 – On this same page, there is a second drop-down menu but towards the bottom
of the page.
On the latter, choose “ by look command via remote control key ” then validate.
