Audi A3 (8V) Facelift – Set ACC control in 1 km/h increments (Coding)
Purpose : Allows the ACC distance setting to be adjusted from the factory setting so that it can be adjusted in 1 km/h increments per switch operation.
By default, the adaptive cruise control PLUS and MINUS buttons adjust your speed in 10 km/h increments. You can change the coding in 1 km/h increments by briefly pressing the button. And use the old 10 km/h speed increments by long pressing the buttons.
Proceed:
1 – With the engine off and the ignition off, connect your official VAG-COM VCDS cable to the computer and then connect the other end to the diagnostic socket of your vehicle.
2 – Switch on the ignition and then start the VCDS program.
Line 1:
3 – Click on “ Select ” then click on “ 13 – Regul Dist. ”.
4 – Click on “ Security Access – 16 ” then type the code “ 14117 or 20103 ”
5 – Click on “ Coding – 07 ”
6 – Click on “ Long Coding Wizard ”.
7 – Select Byte 02
Select bit 6 “Operation Mode 2”
Some cruise control modules may use different coding or even have this setting as an adaptation instead of the coding. Make sure the option you are about to change is labeled correctly.
