Audi A3 (8V) – Reversing radar display on MMI (Coding)
Purpose : Allows to activate the visualization of the reversing radars on the MMI, for vehicles that only have the Audi Parking System rear option. (For A3 8V2 not possible without the “P” button)
Proceed:
1 – With the engine off and the ignition off, connect your official VAG-COM VCDS cable to
the computer and then connect the other end to the diagnostic socket on your vehicle.
2 – Turn on the ignition and start the VCDS program.
Line 1:
3 – Click on “ Select ” then click on “ 10 – Parking assistance ”.
4 – Click on “ Security Access – 16 ” then type the code “ 71679 ”
5 – Click on “ Coding – 07 ” then “ Long Coding Wizard ”
6 – Select Byte 2 :
Bit 0 : Check “ Optical Parking System (OPS) active ”
