Audi A3 (8V) – Adjust the volume of the Soundaktor (Coding)

Purpose: Allows you to adjust/disable the volume of the Soundaktor (speaker integrated into the windshield bay simulating a false engine noise), if you hear a squeaking or buzzing noise, or if you do not like the noise, disable it completely. (Soundaktuator)

Proceed:
1 – Engine off, ignition off, connect your official VAG-COM VCDS cable to the computer then connect the other end to the diagnostic socket of your vehicle.

2 – Switch on the ignition then launch the VCDS program.

Line 1:

3 – Click on ”  Select  ” then click on ”  A9- Struct. Borne Sound “.

4 – Click on “  Adaptation – 10 ”.

5 – On this page, at the very top, there is a drop-down menu.
In this drop-down menu, choose “  Volume of structure-borne noise actuator ”. 

6 – Adjust the value accordingly. 
Default value: 100% 
If the value is set to 0, the sound amplifier is completely disabled.
