SSP 173 – Throttle Valve Control Unit
Until now, most idle speed stabilization systems have required a bypass channel to the throttle valve in order to stabilize idle speed. This requires a large amount of installation space and a relatively large number of components, all of which can represent potential sources of malfunction.
The objective in developing a new idle speed control system was to find a solution that has low susceptibility to faults and does not require a bypass around the throttle valve.
