SSP 151 – Airbag in Audi
Airbag systems for the driver and front passenger currently provide the safest occupant restraint system for front-seat occupants when used in combination with:
fastened three-point seat belts with belt tensioners (TEN system), and
a programmed, retractable corrugated steering column (PROCON system).
Together, these systems significantly reduce the risk of injury in the event of a frontal collision.
