SSP 135 – Climatronic

You are already familiar with the refrigerant circuit of this air-conditioning system from the manual air conditioner used in the Passat.
What is new in this system is the electronic control — hence the name Climatronic.

The key parameters of the electronic control system are based on a continuous comparison between the set (target) temperature and the actual temperature in order to determine:

air temperature
air volume
air distribution

This corresponds to the control principle already known from Audi air-conditioning systems.
