SSP 110 – Fully electronic ignition with lambda and boost pressure control

For the 5-cylinder turbo engines, the fully electronic ignition system VEZ has been further developed.
The VEZ performs the following functions:
Ignition control with knock regulation
Lambda (oxygen sensor) control
Cold-start valve control
Boost pressure control
Fuel tank ventilation
Self-diagnosis
This self-study program describes the VEZ for the turbo engine with the code letter MC in the Audi 100/200.
For the 1B and 2B engines (Audi 100/200) as well as the MB engine (Audi Quattro), a comparable VEZ is used, but it operates without lambda control and fuel tank ventilation.
