In the light commercial vehicle segment for pickups with approximately 1-ton payload, Volkswagen offers a collaborative vehicle across Europe under the name Taro.
The Taro is available in three body variants as well as a standard chassis.
In addition to rear-wheel drive, the standard cab, extra cab, and double cab are available with all-wheel drive.
For Germany, the standard cab with diesel engine and rear-wheel drive is offered.
