Digijet is an electronically controlled injection system with a programmed injection map, idle stabilization, and overrun fuel cutoff. The fuel quantity is digitally calculated according to the operating status.
Each cylinder is assigned an electromagnetic injection valve (injector), the opening times of which are determined by an electronic control unit. The fuel is injected intermittently into the intake manifold directly onto the intake valves.
