The new Polo is a compact hatchback vehicle with a variable luggage compartment.
Its new styling and improved interior space are intended to meet a wide range of individual customer requirements.

The suspension, proven over many years, has been carried over from the previous Polo, but adapted to meet all modern technical requirements.

Instead of the previous 0.9-liter engine with 29 kW (40 hp), a new 1.05-liter engine is offered, also producing 29 kW (40 hp). In addition, the already familiar engines continue to be available:

• 1.1-liter engine with 37 kW (50 hp)

• 1.3-liter engine with 44 kW (60 hp)

Vehicles of the “Formel E” version are equipped with the high-compression 1.1-liter engine.
