A3 (8Y) – Coming / Leaving Home during the day on Auto (Coding)
Purpose: Allows you to use Coming Home and Leaving Home during the day with the headlight switch on Auto.
Proceed as follows:
1 – With the engine off and the ignition off, connect your official VAG-COM VCDS cable to the computer and then connect the other end to the diagnostic socket of your vehicle or your OBDeleven box.
2 – Switch on the ignition and then launch the VCDS program or the OBDeleven application.
Line 1:
3 – Click on “ Select ” and then click on “ 09- Central electrical unit ”.
4 – Unlock the SFD protection .
5 – Click on “ Adaptation – 10 ”.
6 – On this page, at the very top, there is a drop-down menu.
In this drop-down menu, choose “ Coming-Home_and_Leaving-Home – Tagfahrlicht mit CHO bei Tag in Stellung AUTO ”
7 – On this same page, there is a second drop-down menu but towards the bottom
of the page.
On the latter, choose “ Active ” then validate.
Line 2:
3 – Click on “ Select ” then click on “ 09- Power station ”.
4 – Unlock SFD protection .
5 – Click on “ Adaptation – 10 ”.
6 – On this page, at the very top, there is a drop-down menu.
In this drop-down menu, choose “ Coming-Home_and_Leaving-Home – Daylight saving time with LHO at Daylight saving time in AUTO mode ”.
7 – On this same page, there is a second drop-down menu but towards the bottom
of the page.
On the latter, choose “ Active ” then validate.
