Audi A3 (8P) Facelift – Needle check (Coding)
Purpose: Allows you to activate the scanning of the speedometer needles when starting the car.
ATTENTION: Only for S3 and A3 Facelift compatible according to meter.
Proceed:
1 – With the engine off and the ignition off, connect your official VAG-COM VCDS cable to the computer and then connect the other end to the diagnostic socket on your vehicle.
2 – Turn on the ignition and start the VCDS program.
Line 1:
3 – Click on “ Select ” then click on “ 17 – instruments ”.
4 – Click on “ 10-Adaptation ”
5 – Choose Channel 36 and Add +1 to the existing value according to the bubble.
Example: original value 00 or 0: change to 01 or 1 / original value 10: change to 11
