Audi A3 (8P) Facelift – Door lock / unlock confirmation (Beep) (Coding)
Purpose: Allows to enable vehicle locking/unlocking confirmation with beeps (alarm) and add the beep selection menu in the ODB (MFA).
Proceed:
1 – With the engine off and the ignition off, connect your official VAG-COM VCDS cable to the computer and then connect the other end to the diagnostic socket on your vehicle.
2 – Turn on the ignition and start the VCDS program.
Line 1:
3 – Click on “ Select ” then click on “ 09- Power station ”.
4 – Click on “ Coding 07 ”.
5 – Select module “0” and click on “Long coding assistant”:
6 – Choose Byte 5 :
Bit 1 : Check “Locking Confirmation via Horn active”
Bit 4 : Check “Unlocking Confirmation via Horn active”
To add the beep selection menu in the ODB (MFA):
Bit 2 : Disable “ Horn Confirmation Adaptation Blocked (Adaptation Channel 010/011 & MFA+/FIS) ”
