Audi A3 (8P) – Auxiliary heating activation (Coding)

Purpose : Allows you to activate the auxiliary heating.

Proceed:
1 – With the engine off and the ignition off, connect your official VAG-COM VCDS cable to the computer and then connect the other end to the diagnostic socket of your vehicle.

2 – Switch on the ignition and then launch the VCDS program.

Line 1:

3 – Click on “ Select ” and then click on “ 17 – Instruments ”.

4 – Click on “ Adaptation-10 ”.

5 – Choose Channel 18

Change the value with

First Digit: Warm-up
0: No warm-up
1: Engine warm-up

Second Digit: Type of auxiliary heating
0: No auxiliary heating
1: Auxiliary heating and ventilation installed
2: Auxiliary heating and ventilation cut off when engine off
3: Auxiliary ventilation installed only
4: Auxiliary ventilation installed only, cut off when engine off
