Audi A1 (GB) – Start/Stop deactivation (Coding)
Purpose: Allows you to completely disable Start and Stop.
NOTE : Does not work anymore if the 10th digit of your chassis number is “L” (A1 2019) or higher (“M” = A1 2020).
(After 2019 the deactivation does not work anymore depending on the gateway reference)
Proceed:
1 – Engine off, ignition off, connect your official VAG-COM VCDS cable to the computer then connect the other end to the diagnostic socket of your vehicle or your OBDeleven box.
2 – Switch on the ignition then launch the VCDS program or the OBDeleven application.
Method 1 (Voltage method, recommended):

3 – Click on “ Select ” then click on “ 19 – CAN Gateway ”.
4 – Click on “ Adaptation – 10 ”.
5 – On this page, at the very top, there is a drop-down menu.
In this drop-down menu, choose “ Start/Stop voltage limit ”.
6 – On this same page, there is a second drop-down menu but towards the bottom
of the page.
On the latter, choose “ 12 ” (default value = 7.6V ) then validate.

3 – Click on “ Select ” then click on “ 19 – CAN Gateway ”.
4 – Click on “ Adaptation – 10 ”.
5 – On this page, at the very top, there is a drop-down menu.
In this drop-down menu, choose “ Start/Stop Auntemperaturvorgabe-Minimaltemperatur ”
6 – On this same page, there is a second drop-down menu but towards the bottom
of the page.
On the latter, choose “ 50 ” (default value = -50.0 ) then validate.
Line 2:
3 – Click on “ Select ” then click on “ 19 – CAN Gateway ”.
4 – Click on “ Adaptation – 10 ”.
5 – On this page, at the very top, there is a drop-down menu.
In this drop-down menu, choose “ Start/Stopp Auntemperaturvorgabe-Maximaltemperatur ”
6 – On this same page, there is a second drop-down menu but towards the bottom
of the page.
On the latter, choose “ 50 ” (default value = -50.0 ) then validate.
