SSP 192 – The VW Passat 1997 – The Engineering
After providing an initial overview of the new Passat in the Self-Study Programme titled “The Passat ’97 – The Presentation”, we will now describe in detail how the car’s various components are designed and how they function.
The topics of the VR5 engine, convenience electronics, and the navigation system are so extensive that they go beyond the scope of this Self-Study Programme.
They will therefore be covered separately.
