SSP 190 – Adjustable Turbocharger
If the water level in a mill stream drops, the current is no longer strong enough to turn the water wheel.
If the miller still wants to grind corn, he must narrow the stream of water.
For the miller, the flow of water is just as important as exhaust gas energy is to a turbocharger.
By using adjustable vanes, the adjustable turbocharger achieves quick response at low engine speeds.
