This self-study program describes the Bosch Motronic MP 9.0 and Magneti Marelli 1AV engine management systems. Differences between the systems are highlighted on the corresponding pages.

Starting from model year 1996, both Bosch Motronic MP 9.0 and Magneti Marelli 1AV replace the Mono-Motronic fuel injection system in the 1.3, 1.4, and 1.6 L engines.

By using these multi-point injection systems, lower fuel consumption and reduced exhaust emissions are achieved.
