Digifant is a development of the Digijet injection and the Dignition ignition system. Through the combined and coordinated control of injection and ignition, it offers functional advantages over individual systems. This is particularly effective in dynamic operating states, such as acceleration, overrun fuel cutoff, cold start, and warm-up. Each cylinder is assigned an electromagnetic injection valve, the opening times of which are determined by the electronic control unit.
