SSP 018 – Level Control System in the Audi 100

INDEX

Why level control on the rear axle?
With the help of the rear axle level control system, the rear of the vehicle always maintains the same ride height up to the maximum permissible load.

This means:

  • Full suspension travel at the rear axle is maintained

  • No reduction in ground clearance

  • No deterioration in steering or handling

  • Headlights always remain in the normal position

  • Increased ride comfort due to softer basic rear suspension
